Grown Your Own Sprouts

Growing sprouts can be a rich and rewarding experience. Sprouts are full of vitamins, minerals, proteins and enzymes. Sprouts have been around for thousands of years. There are many kinds of sprouts: alfalfa, fenugreek, peas, lentils, radish, red clover, mung bean, broccoli, cabbage, mustard seed, garbanzos quinoa to name a few. Make sure the seeds you are using are organic. After the bean, lentil or grain has sprouted they will continue to grow in the refrigerator. As well, their vitamin content will increase.
